Mark E. Crawford, Ph.D.

Mark E. Crawford, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been practicing in the Atlanta area for thirty-four years. He received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at St. Louis University and completed his internship at The Emory University School of Medicine. He served as the Clinical Director of both an adolescent and adult inpatient treatment program at West Paces Ferry Hospital before transitioning into private practice. Mark has been in practice with Michael Lyles, M.D. since 1997, and they see patients in their Roswell office. Mark works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families working on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, OCD, behavioral problems, and relationship problems. He also performs psychoeducational evaluations to assess for ADHD, learning issues, etc. He was the team psychologist for the Atlanta Hawks from 2004 until 2008. Mark has written two books: The Obsessive-Compulsive Trap: Real Help for a Real Disorder and When Two Become Three: Nurturing Your Marriage After Baby Arrivesas well as numerous articles and book chapters. He has been featured as an expert guest on ABC’s World News, CNN, Headline News, and several other local television and radio programs. Mark also speaks regularly on a variety of topics for churches, parent groups, and schools.
