Ryan Uytdewilligen

Ryan Uytdewilligen is a multi-award-winning author from Coaldale, Alberta, Canada who enjoys writing in a variety of genres. He is aware of how long and perplexing his last name is but vows to never change it. His novels include Tractor, He’s No Angel, and the Pushcart Prize nominated Akela. His novella, The Cattle Driver, earned a Will Rogers Medallion for Best Western Short Fiction. In non-fiction, he has written film histories including 101 Most Influential Coming of Age Movies and Killing John Wayne: The Making of The Conqueror.


His writing has appeared in numerous publications including Quirk Magazine, The Chicago Tribune, Screen Rant, The Toronto Star, and Taste of Cinema. An avid film buff, Ryan lives in York, Ontario.
