Laura Rahme

Laura Rahme is a French-Australian novelist based in France. Born in Senegal and inspired by her complex family heritage (Lebanese, French and Vietnamese), she writes novels informed by historical and cultural research.

With Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Engineering (Aerospace Avionics), she juggles a long career in Tech with her great love of telling stories.

Her first novel, The Ming Storytellers, was released in 2012, while a seventh novel, The Signare of Gorée, is expected to be published in September 2024. The Signare of Gorée is a historical mystery set in 1840s Gorée, a colonial island off the coast of Senegal, Rahme’s birth country.
