Gregory Gerard Allison's work has been published by Tiny Lights, Lake Affect, and other journals. His 2009 memoir, In Jupiter's Shadow, chronicles the coming-of-age struggles of a gay Catholic teen in the 1980s. His manuscript, The Martini Chronicles, which relates the poignant bond between a gay man and a married woman, was a finalist in a University of New Orleans Publishing Laboratory contest. His 2021 poem, Hallowe’en Eve, tracks a fictional foggy encounter—and features artwork from the Rochester area.

He is founder and editor of The Big Brick Review, a non-fiction online journal that supports nonfiction writers by building on the narrative of our lives, one brick at a time. His most recent work, My Grandfather’s Clocks, relates the true story of a grandson’s search for an American inventor’s lost collection.
