Unique Love Stories

I live for unique and passionate love stories of all kinds, in novels and in film.

When I was young and just figuring out the whole gay thing, I had to cross state lines to see the one gay movie and smuggle out the one library book I was too afraid to check out. In the 1970s and 80s I grew up knowing I was part of a group that was rarely talked about, aside from the occasional jokes.

I've enjoyed so many stories that didn't represent me, and it is my hope that others will enjoy the books and films that I make even if the stories don’t represent them. In my list of books, I included my own novels, which I hope people will enjoy…although I don’t pretend to be in the atmosphere of the inspiring, heartbreaking and hilarious writer, Amy Bloom.
