Rural Britain, with its extraordinarily diverse landscape – everything from Stonehenge to the Scottish Highlands, Dartmoor to Derwent Water - provides an evocative backdrop for some of the finest mysteries ever written, ranging from classics of yesteryear to cutting edge contemporary crime.
