And I think the braintrust of the three of us makes the secret agent jokes even better somehow. It’s really fun to bounce ideas back and forth between all of us as we figure out how to make Mango and Brash’s secret agent colleagues into the main characters of all-new stories exploring what other team-ups look like!

Luckily, the school band is traveling there for a contest – so obviously the absolute best thing to do is join the band and pretend to play the trombone. Too bad that what Scout is really interested in is art, not music, and she’s never played a note before – and that her fellow trombonist takes band super-seriously! Luckily they (hilariously, after many hijinks) become friends. This book is smart and funny and very cool!
