Puppeteer
In 2030, the world is broke, crime and corruption are rampant, while terrorism is strangely sophisticated. The Puppeteer intends to bring society to its senses by creating the ultimate in terrorism, and hundreds of millions will die unless the challenge he issues is met. But can he control what he is doing? When Lt Colonel John Maxwell is put in charge of a simple anti-terrorist team, he forms a dysfunctional relationship with Tamsyn Farish, and to everybody's surprise, they have success where nobody else does, until he learns that he too is having strings pulled. Meanwhile, two young scientists carrying out undersea minerals exploration at Kerguelen are suddenly critical to saving hundreds of millions of lives, but they have no idea there is even a problem, let alone what they have to do, and nobody can communicate with Kerguelen. A fast moving techno thriller with added romance. Of course, the situation could never arise. Or could it?
