Tyler R. Tichelaar

Tyler R. Tichelaar is a lifelong lover of the Gothic. He has a PhD in British Literature from Western Michigan University and bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northern Michigan University. He is also a seventh-generation resident of Marquette, Michigan. He has written numerous historical fiction novels set in Upper Michigan, as well as Arthurian historical fantasy and studies of Gothic literature. He is currently working on his next novel, The Mysteries of Marquette, a Gothic play on the City Mysteries genre, which should appear in 2025.
