Terry Madden

As an award-winning fiction and screenwriter, Terry Madden has written historical and mainstream fiction, but her first love is speculative fiction. Her high school paper on the evolution of Frankenstein’s monster from tragic construct to boogeyman set her on the path of the weird and wonderful. With Middle Earth and Earthsea as early inspirations, the Celtic shadow world known as the Five Quarters takes root in her Three Wells series. Terry’s short fiction has appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies. She lives in California with her husband, two miniature horses and two cats.
