Geoffrey M. Hodgson

Geoffrey M. Hodgson is Emeritus Professor in Management at Loughborough University London. He has been a visiting professor at several universities around the world. The author of over 20 books and over 300 academic articles, he was the recipient of the 2012 Veblen-Commons Award and a winner of the 2014 Schumpeter Prize. In 2023, based on his citations, Research.com’s ‘Best Scientists in Economics and Finance’ ranked him number 18 in the UK and number 155 globally. He is editor-in-chief of the Journal of Institutional Economics, a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a fellow of the UK Academy of Social Sciences. He lives in Devon in England, enjoying writing, reading, scenery, walks, photography, companionship, and other good things in life.
